Cosplay Progress

Best thing I learned this month: learning how to use the sewing machine. It’s a brother brand. (not sure about the model). Well I bought more fabric and supplies in case I run low. I hope to finish my Taokaka cosplay outfit before EXPcon.

Mask – 85%
(painted, just need to finish painting teeth & add elastic and red lenses)
Hood – 50% (need to attach)
Jacket – 25%
Zipper – 90% (rough, but I just need to attach it)
Sleeves – 5%
Bootcovers – 50%
Cat Tail – 100%
Pigtails – 0% (I’ll do this last)

After testing out a sleeve, I’m not so sure if I’m going to make claws for this outfit since the ones I made earlier seem a bit too long… maybe. maybe not. I’d like to use the chrome silver paper I bought.
I’m also thinking of attempting to modify the sleeve to be similar to Hsien-Ko(LeiLei) from the DarkStalker series. I’m aware that the sleeves don’t have an opening so that means you’re unable to use your hands. Maybe if I get lucky, I’m able to mimic Hsien-Ko’s sleeves.
