I can hardly believe it. This year really went by fast. Well I hope everybody had a nice Thanksgiving. I look forward to the holidays~ (gingerbread time!!!)
Turkey Day

Freedom and the Turkey have sure been having fun.

Fabrics
On Nov. 22 I went to Joann to find some fabric. Got 3yd of the black Shaggy Grizzly faux fur using the Merry Moolah coupon, then 1/2yd of brown Davos Craft Fur. It feels a bit rough, and I somewhat regret getting it. I sort of wish I got the fur from Mendel’s fabrics. I’m really liking the Pukny Muppet black long pile faux fur, or maybe the Sheared Beaver Black faux fur at fabric.com.

I still need to finish Tales of Hearts X(

I bought a wigform from Sally’s Beauty Supply. I had a little bit of fun with the Halloween Pixie wig and cat ears.

The mini Christmas tree is up
I just set up the christmas tree in my room. It’s not so big, but I enjoy the festive feel of it. :)

Freedom and Exia wanted to help decorate the tree

Around late July I found out about
ExpCon ’09. I’d like to start cosplaying. (hopefully Taokaka – default color; I may try the Blue/Purple) I need to find/create patterns.
Over the weekend
I went shopping at Joann’s trying to search for fabrics… I think I was lost in the fabric section. :X

-Ivory Interlock
-Goldenrod stretch

I didn’t know Big Lots sold items at cheap prices. I bought vol.12 of Gundam Seed Destiny for $3.00. They had other movies, boxed sets, volumes of series. Oh yeah, they also had real Transformer toys. (Last time I went was a few years ago. I got some pseudo Beast Wars-like toy where the robot turned into a Tanuki…)

Ordered a few things from CosWorx.

-Wig Styling Brush

Got a surprise from my sister. (thank you~) So I made use of this at Jetpens.com. There were so many neat items I’d like to have bought. I wish I could have added the Kokuyo Capara Mega Pencil Case but I didn’t feel like spending too much. I’d like to get the dark blue or beige color. Here’s what I got:

Pilot Choose Gel Ink Pen – 0.7 mm – White
Akashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pen – Pale Orange
Akashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pen – Yellow Ocher
Uni-ball Boxy Eraser – Black
Tachikawa Comic Nib Fountain Pen – G Model Nib – Fine – Sepia Ink
Tachikawa Comic Nib Fountain Pen – School Model Nib – Extra Fine – Black Ink
Tachikawa Comic Nib Fountain Pen Refill Cartridge – Black – Pack of 2
Sakura Aqualip Gel Ink Pen – Fine Tip – 10 Color Set
Copic Sketch Marker – Peacock Blue
Pilot Color Eno Mechanical Pencil Lead – 0.7 mm – Soft Blue
Platinum Japanese Art Pocket Brush Pen

I look forward to recieving my gifts. Like Tom Nook says, its always so fun to recieve things in the mail. I’m guessing it’ll come in before the TalesRPG vol.2 CD. I think I’ll be putting this in my blog posts until I get it in the mail, cause seriously, waiting over the supposed 6 week period and then having to wait another 1-2 weeks because you emailed them is ridiculous. They never even emailed the people that something happened to their shipment of the CDs.

One more item to my wishlist

I think I spent an hour trying to find out the item’s name online. Went to IKEA earlier and saw this really nice drawing desk that had a frosted glass lightbox built into it. Also contains a metal lip for catching pens/pencils Vika Blecket Drawing Desk
Price: $159.99
Just posting this to remind myself what the name of the drawing desk is (because I can’t find it in the database) I’d like to use this and replace the one I got from Target.

I really like HobbyLobby

I started assembling the 1/100 00 Gundam with light-up GN Drives yesterday. I was getting a bit frustrated because I was using one of the manicuring tools to cut the pieces from the runners. It seemed to ‘crush’ the ends every now and then so I went to Hobby Lobby to get a 4 1/2 sprue cutter. I also got a Faber Castell watercolor pencil and 3 Sakura Koi water brush(small, medium, and large). Thank goodness for sales and the beloved 40% coupon. ^^* I’ve grown interest in the waterbrush after seeing it once before. I’d like to try and learn how to use them with COPiC markers… You can find information about the waterbrush here and here.

Koi water brush
I really do enjoy using the sprue cutter I got. It’s a baby blue color so it’s cute (imo). But yeah, it rarely crushes the sprue as long as I don’t cut too close for the first snip. I’ve also used it to trim the antenna of the Gundam’s helmet. As for the green stickers; I’m not fond of using them because Gundam stickers aren’t too appealing sometimes… Instead, I’ve colored the inside of the clear E parts with a Sharpie markker. I’ve done this method similarly for my Freedom Gundam’s rail guns. Originally, there was no stickers to place in it, so I just colored the inside of the clear parts with a Prang metallic blue marker.
The upper portion is mostly done.

-Still haven’t recieved Tales RPG Anniversary vol. 2
