The ink for this pen is pretty smooth flowing and can be used against dark/black paper.

I loaded the 0.7mm soft blue lead into Sakura 127 mechanical pencil and tried doodling a few things. The lead felt pretty soft but didn’t break(yet. I have a heavy hand…).

I enjoy the ‘still-wet’ appearance of these pens even after they dried. (wet-look like how ink on the paper looks after you write on it with a gel pen) I mainly got this pack for the pencil case. Overall I think this is a good deal.


I found it interesting how on each pen there was a little hard bead of glue on each tip. But that doesn’t matter, the pens writes smooth and keep their ‘wet’ appearance on paper after drying.

I tried out the white on the back of a booklet. It went on clear, but after a few seconds you can see the white ink start to show through. The yellow on the other hand isn’t suitable on dark-colored paper.
